L-Lysine 500mg & Vitamin B6

This essential amino acid is needed along with other amino acids to make many different proteins within the body. However, taken on its own it demonstrates potent anti-viral action, especially against herpes. It does this by directly interfering with the replication of the virus. Lysine also helps keep calcium in the body, so may be of use to people that are concerned about their bone density.
